Founded in 2004, S-Heart-S is the creator of the famous SCALP BRUSH, with over 1,300,000 units sold worldwide, from Japan to France, Switzerland, Belgium, Russia, and Monaco.
The brush’s story took a landmark turn on June 30, 2019, at Saint-Germain-des-Prés in Paris. S-Heart-S was chosen as the official professional supplier for the backstage of Yuima Nakazato, the only Japanese designer with the coveted Haute Couture label. SCALP BRUSHES were used to style models whose hair would be admired by the global press.
The biggest choreographers, makeup artists, and hair experts came together to create an unforgettable experience. After a rigorous selection from hundreds of competitors, the SCALP BRUSH emerged as the professional-grade tool of choice, elevating haircare to a new level of Haute Couture excellence at Paris Fashion Week.

A Natural Collaboration
Yuima Nakazato, born in Tokyo, graduated from the prestigious Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp in 2008 as the youngest Japanese graduate. His final collection won an innovation award from Ann Demeulemeester. He has since received awards at International Talent Support and nominations for "Future Talent – Best Dress-up" by V Magazine.
Nakazato’s designs are featured in museums worldwide, and celebrities like Fergie and Lady Gaga have commissioned him for stage costumes.
Known for his constant pursuit of innovation, Nakazato caught the attention of Mr. Kinoshita, founder of S-Heart-S. Sharing a vision for combining the latest technology with traditional haircare, they collaborated to create the SCALP BRUSH—a truly unique, revolutionary product.
